Whatβs Coming Back to You?
The harvest you reap reveals the seeds you planted. What powerful opportunities we have every day to determine what comes back to us!
I love the rendering of the Passion Translation of Galatians 6

If you plant love, love comes back.
If you plant hate, hate comes back.
If you plant forgiveness, forgiveness comes back.
If you plant revenge, revenge comes back.
If you plant joy, joy comes back.
If you plant sadness, sadness comes back.
Whatever you sow, you will reap.
Too often people βsow wild oatsβ or discord and then pray for a crop failure. This is not how it works. Godβs principles stand.
Jason and I have lived long enough to realize that you donβt always reap in the same season you sowed. There was a season when we sowed a lot of loyalty and didnβt see loyalty return immediately, and it was painful. But now, when we need it most, loyalty is cropping up in abundance all around us.
Trust God with the timing of your planting and reaping.
I just love the way verses 9β10 express this concept:

Donβt be discouraged as you plant the right things, invest in others, and love lavishly. Joy will come back to you!
